Growth Manager

Location: East Coast (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane), Australia (Remote & In-Office)

We are a fast-growing, established SaaS company specialising in automation software for the recruitment sector. After several years of successful, partner-led sales, we are now ready to scale with our first full-time sales-focused hire. With two new products launching this year and a major scale-based offering in the pipeline for mid-late 2025, this is an exciting time to join our journey.

The Role

As our first dedicated sales hire, the Growth Manager will take full ownership of our sales function, working closely with the CEO and Head of Engineering as part of the leadership team. You will be responsible for expanding our reach across Australasia and UK/Europe, building and executing the sales strategy, and shaping the future sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership – Drive and execute the sales strategy for our core product and upcoming releases.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management – Lead prospecting, lead generation, product demos, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Market Expansion – Identify and develop opportunities in existing and new markets (Australasia, UK, Europe).
  • Network-Driven Growth – Leverage established industry relationships to drive revenue.
  • Scalable Growth Planning – Play a key role in shaping the sales team structure for long-term expansion.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in SaaS sales, ideally in automation, recruitment, or HR tech. We also encourage applicants with a recruitment background, as long as you can demonstrate a strong sales focus and a keen aptitude for technology
  • A strong track record in closing deals of varying sizes within a fast-medium sales cycle.
  • Strategic mindset – ability to craft and execute sales strategies from the ground up.
  • Comfortable being active across key business social channels, with a strong online network
  • Hands-on approach – comfortable being a sole contributor initially while laying the foundation for a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed across target markets.
